TOKYO—MOL PLUS CO., Ltd. (CEO: Takuya Sakamoto; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) today announced that it conducted a guest lecture in November 2024 at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology for students studying the entrepreneurship-related course “Marine Entrepreneurship Theory I” (Faculty member in charge: Professor Naotomo Nakahara), which was introduced as a regular course in 2024. Additionally, in December, MOL PLUS CEO Takuya Sakamoto served as a judge at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Business Plan Contest 2024.

To achieve this objective, talented personnel capable of driving new businesses in the ocean shipping and marine business fields are essential, and we are therefore dedicated to fostering entrepreneurs both inside and outside the company.
Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology has offered a marine entrepreneur training program for undergraduate and graduate students since the 2021 academic year, with the aim of nurturing entrepreneurs. The guest lecture and business plan contest were a part of the program.
